I probably wouldn’t have been the first. I don’t go grocery shopping much and probably would have thought the cart was too complicated. But if I saw that an eccentric was doing it I might wait until the next time I went to the store to not only use the cart but be all in your face about it too. But then if too many people started doing it I would lay off for a while so as not to seem like I was doing it because every one else was doing it. It is very hard to prove that you were the first to do something as trendy as say, use a shopping cart, in situations like this.

I must have a problem with either my dopamine receptors or levels of the biochemical in my system. I have never let others’ opinions of style sway my decision to do or not do something. I’m pretty logical, even though left-handed, and would go ahead and use the darn cart; I wouldn’t care in the slightest if I happened to be first or the thousandth to do so. If people judge me for being me, too bad. How do you like me now?
